Pendleton Ward
Pendleton Ward is an American animator, writer, voice actor, and creator of Adventure Time, which he developed from a short he made for Nickelodeon's Random! Cartoons in 2007. Before Adventure Time, he worked as a storyboard artist on The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, contributing to several episodes during the show's run. He served as showrunner for Adventure Time's early seasons, building the show's unique combination of emotional depth, absurdist humor, and elaborate world mythology before gradually stepping back from the showrunner role.
